Storify Your Brand Message
Get Clear On What To Say And How To Say In 60 Minutes
When you’re the only one you have to bounce ideas off it's all too easy to get stuck in your head. Like when you have a message you want to get across but it doesn’t come out the way you intend. Or a powerful perspective you’re starting to second-guess because others just don’t seem to understand you.
The people I work with are smart, full of ideas, flush with experience, and too close to their own thoughts to capture their perspective in words that inspire action.
In this 60-minute storytelling coaching session, you’re invited to get it all out on the table: The ideas swirling in your mind about the topics you want to talk about, the impact you want to have, and the experiences that led you to this point.
Drawing on my 16-year background in journalism and brand narrative writing, we’ll get clear on your points, connect the dots, and read between the lines to articulate the messages that will move people to action through the story only you can tell.
Previous storytelling coaching clients learned how to sell their offers using narrative techniques, translate complex ideas into content they’re proud to share, and figured out the right story to articulate their message.

Previous Clients Have Achieved:
Clarity On How Experience Informs Your Unique Point Of View, and How to Turn Your Point Of View into Moving Brand Messaging And Stories
Like my client best selling author and decluttering expert Katy Joy Wells, who came to me with a strong idea and zero clue how to articulate it. We found the message in her idea and crafted it into a story she shared on The Minimalist Podcast, a top 1% podcast, where she reached millions with her message.
A Cohesive Storyline That Ties Together Scattered Ideas Into A Bigger Brand Narrative Audiences Get
Like my Kacy Danae who had a million dollar library of knowledge in her head but no idea how to translate this complex, nuanced information into tangible content her audience could feel and connect with. We came up with micro stories to intentionally share her wisdom, message, and experience. They got hundreds of thousands of views all because Kacy wasn’t wasting time figuring out what to say, she was actually saying it.
Sales Page Copy That Works—Without Sounding Gimmicky
Like my client John Windsor who was spinning his wheels trying to write copy for his very first digital offering. As a speaking coach, John knows all about words that move people. But when he tried to capture the transformation his offer delivered… he ended up sounding like everyone else. After weeks of DIY-ing it, he hired me to put his unique approach into words, and walked away with a sales page concept and product story he hit publish on that same week.
Clarity Doesn’t Have To Take Forever
“I’ve been trying to turn these ideas into a plan on my own for months. Cyndi broke it down so quickly. this is exactly what I needed to piece together for the next level in my brand”
— Kacy Danae, Business Astrology Coach
“I had high expectations going in — and Cyndi blew all those expectations away. What we created far exceeded what I'd hoped to get. She was soooo good at pulling out the messages that would really succeed, and framing them in crisp, relatable ways. How I show up to my market is so much stronger now than it was before. Working with Cyndi was worth far more than what I paid. ”

Meet Your Storytelling Coach
Hi, I’m Cyndi -
Let’s Say It Like You Mean It
I’m Cyndi Zaweski, and I’m a storytelling coach for people who are tired of sounding like everyone else. If your ideas feel like a 1,000-piece puzzle with no box art, I’m the one who finds the you-shaped frame.
Drawing on a decade of journalism, I ask the questions that strip away the surface level and get to the heart of what you actually mean. My work has been heard on iHeartRadio and developed brand narratives of industry leaders like Meg Golightly. I’ve spent my career translating complex ideas into stories that inspire action—but more importantly, I help you find your own.
We’ll think through the logic together, find the hook that’s been hiding in plain sight, and break down the barrier between your thoughts and the page. Clients often tell me, "I say the most profound things when I’m around you."
That’s because this is a space for you to word vomit everything in your head so we can clearly see how your point, connect the dots, read in between the lines, and tell the story only you can.

Storytelling Coaching FAQS
-
A storytelling coaching session is a private, one-on-one working session designed to help you express yourself more effectively.
During the session, you can talk through your brand message, offers, or content challenges.
I ask structured questions, identify how to tangle the messy parts, and create a clear action plan you can implement immediately.
-
My approach comes from journalism, not marketing.
Before working with entrepreneurs and experts, I spent years in newsrooms learning how to take complex information, ask the right questions, and turn raw experiences into stories people could immediately understand. That training still shapes how I coach today.
Instead of starting with formulas or performance-based content strategies, we begin with clarity. Through conversation—often similar to an interview—we unpack your ideas, experiences, and perspective until the most engaging and relevant story emerges.
Many clients find that simply having the space to think out loud and answer thoughtful questions helps them articulate ideas they’ve struggled to explain for years.
From there, we shape those insights into cohesive messaging and stories that feel natural to you and meaningful to the people you want to reach.
I also bring a modern layer to the work. Alongside my journalism background, I studied digital marketing and SEO through Columbia University, which means the stories we develop aren’t just compelling—they’re structured in ways that work for today’s online environment, from articles and newsletters to social media and search.
In practice, that combination often helps people move from scattered ideas or disconnected content to a clear narrative that ties their work together.
The goal is to help you express what you already know in a way people can understand, remember, and connect with.

You speak. I listen—and create an action plan.
A storytelling coaching session is your chance to get your ideas out of your head. Don’t worry about being polished, unsure of brand messaging, or how to connect the dots between your offer and your audience.
As a former journalist and storytelling expert, I’ll ask the right questions to make sense of everything rattling around in your brain.
You’ll walk away reenergized, clear, and ready to take action on the steps you know for sure will move you forward.
-
Storytelling coaching is structured around 60-minute sessions, but the number of sessions depends on what you’d like to work on.
Some people book a single session to shape a specific story, clarify a message, or get feedback on a piece of content. Others choose to meet for several sessions so we can refine their storytelling process over time.
If your goal is to solve a specific communication challenge, one session is often enough to create clarity. If you’d like ongoing support as you practice and apply storytelling to different projects, we can continue working together over multiple sessions.
We’ll decide what makes the most sense based on what you want to accomplish.
-
Deliverables are customized to your project.
But no matter what, you’ll receive a one-page action plan with the strategy we discussed on the call. This action plan includes step-by-step guidance on what actions to take next to achieve the goals we set.
You’ll also receive a transcript and video recording of your session within 24 business hours of our call.

My approach is rooted in my background as a journalist. In newsrooms, the goal is always the same: take complex information and make it clear, meaningful, and engaging for an audience. That same discipline informs how I coach storytelling today.
A big part of the process involves asking thoughtful questions and giving people space to think through their ideas. Much like an interview, the conversation helps clarify what someone truly means, what the core point is, and which moments carry meaning. Many clients find that simply talking through their experiences helps their thinking become clearer.
From there, we work on shaping those insights into cohesive stories and messaging that people can easily understand and remember.
I also integrate modern content strategy and SEO principles—something I studied through Columbia University’s digital marketing program—so the stories and ideas we develop aren’t just meaningful, but also structured in ways that help people find and engage with your work online.
In practice, this often includes:
Interview-style conversations that surface the real story behind your ideas
Clarifying the core message or takeaway you want people to remember
Identifying the shift or transformation that gives a story meaning
Structuring ideas so they flow clearly and resonate with an audience
Aligning stories with your broader brand messaging and online content
The goal isn’t to force a formula, but to help you articulate your ideas in a way that’s natural, clear, and cohesive.

If you have a specific project and need help thinking through ideas, refining your message, or editing a story—storytelling coaching is the best fit. It’s designed for focused support when you know what you’re working on but need help putting it into words.
If you’re looking for deeper clarity across your entire brand—what you stand for, how your message connects, and how everything fits together—narrative strategy is the better place to start.
If you’re not sure, you can email Cyndi at cyndi@cyndizaweski.com or set up a free Meet + Greet call to talk through what would be most beneficial.
